New Tattoo

The start of my new tattoo...

I had a lot of fun making this - lots of paint, ink and a screen i found on the street.

A lot of the black paint i painted through the screen - love the textural effect that made. i also made the pocket in the corner to hold the tattoo stencil.

I create.

Here is my layout for the January Trash to Treasure Swap.

Journaling:
Everybody has a unique voice ... they just need to find it.
I like to scream loud when I create and use that voice to express who I am and what I want to say.
If I couldn't create I'd go crazy with all my thoughts trapped inside with no way out.

Materials:
Background Paper: Cosmo Cricket Wanted Slim Jim (from T2T)
"Creative Process" paper from Ali Edwards book poster
Clothespin (from T2T) sprayed with Glimmer Mist
Please Patch (from T2T)
Buttons
Paper Flowers made from scraps with ink
Dymo Label

I am the art.

Dual challenge - for OLW - Create the World You Want to Live In - and for my 365 Week 5 layout.

The picture is actually taken with the transparency held between my face and the camera - then i used that same transparency for the frame. I burned the edges to give it more texture.
The hand is also my hand I took a picture of after I created a different layout (from the 365 challenge as well).
Create is my word for 2008 and there's something about this layout that I just love - it feels like a creation.
The journalling reads (it's a play on a U2 song btw):
Create the world you want to live in.
Create out loud!
This is my world and this is the world i want to live in

Create.

Here is my favorite quote currently. The tag is dictionary.com definition of the word create.
And i think i need Glimmer Mist intervention at this point but the way it coated the chipboard makes it look like bronzed metal and excited me to no end!! i used "Coffee Shop" and "Graphite" for the effect.
I've also become addicted to building my paper with newspaper, mod podge and white acrylic.
Also the "stitching" is done by using silver liquid embossing fluid.
